Physiotherapist
Degree in Physiotherapy form the Escola Superior de Saúde de Alcoitão.
In 2010 I started working at a physical rehabilitation clinic (CRID) in Cascais. In 2011 I started group Pilates classes at CRID as a complement to the therapy for some patients, after completing training in Clinical Pilates.
At the same time, I started other groups of Pilates classes, with a younger target audience, with or without clinical conditions, as well as many pregnant and postpartum women.
In 2014, I decided to dedicate my time entirely to Pilates. I created the PowerPilates brand, to showcase the original, differentiated and highly beneficial method that I developed.

In 2015 I started my career in physiotherapy at the Portuguese Institute of Rheumatology. At the same time, I started teaching clinical Pilates classes, mainly geared towards prevention and treatment of musculoskeletal conditions.
My interest in physical exercise, especially for a younger audience, led me seek new challenges where I could combine the skills from my two degrees. In 2016 I started to focus more on Pilates, joining the Power Pilates team that same year.
